Generation 85

During my time at the design consultancy KISKA, I had the unique opportunity to contribute to a chapter of European industrial design history. Together with the team, I developed several design concepts that explored the future design direction of Siemens Mobile for Generation 85.

The objective was to establish a contemporary and distinctive design language that translated the brand’s technological innovation into a new visual identity based on the central multi porpose key as design key element.

Following the acquisition of Siemens Mobile by BenQ in 2005, the project was discontinued, and none of the proposed concepts progressed into production. Nevertheless, the project provided valuable experience in developing strategic design concepts for one of Europe’s leading mobile phone brands during a pivotal moment in its history.
